DH Autoware will invest US$167 million in Nuevo León to manufacture electronic boards (motherboards) for Kia and Hyundai vehicles — key components of automotive electronic systems.

The project is expected to create 440 new jobs in the state.

Expansion underway

The company also announced an expansion that raises its total investment to 2.6 billion pesos, with the enlargement of its plant in Apodaca and the construction of a new facility in Santa Catarina, generating more than 800 direct jobs focused on components for Kia.

The investment strengthens Nuevo León's automotive and electromobility supplier chain, one of the pillars of nearshoring in the region.
